As a New York–based interior-design photographer, I recently photographed the TRYP Hotel in Newark, New Jersey, for the Berger Organization. Known for its contemporary design and stylish comfort, the TRYP Hotel offers guests a modern urban retreat. My goal was to capture images that highlight its sleek interiors while communicating the inviting atmosphere that defines the Berger Organization’s hospitality.

Capturing Guest Rooms with Clean, Contemporary Design

The guest rooms at the TRYP Hotel feature a balance of minimalism and personality. From the crisp white linens to the bold patterned rugs and upholstered headboards, each element was carefully framed to show both comfort and style. By using thoughtful composition, I emphasized the clean architectural lines, geometric accents, and textures that make these rooms visually striking.

The Importance of Lighting in Hotel Photography

Lighting is key in hotel photography. At the TRYP Hotel, I blended natural light from large windows with the glow of modern fixtures to create inviting, balanced imagery. This approach highlighted the contrast between sleek furnishings and bold accent colors while conveying warmth and sophistication.

Telling the Story of Guest Experience

Interior photography is more than documenting design—it’s about storytelling. At the TRYP Hotel, I aimed to capture the sense of comfort, style, and functionality that guests experience from the moment they arrive. Each photograph was crafted to reflect not just the look of the space, but the feeling of staying there.

Why Interior Photography Matters for Hotels

For hotels like TRYP, professional interior photography is essential for branding and marketing. These images help attract guests, elevate online presence, and showcase the Berger Organization’s dedication to quality. As a New York interior design photographer, I strive to create photographs that inspire travelers to book and experience the space firsthand.
