92nd Street Y

What I love about being an interior photographer in New York is the opportunity to photograph exciting spaces like this renovation of Buttenwieser Hall at the 92nd Street Y built by my client JRM Construction.

Stepping into the beautifully renovated Buttenwieser Hall in the heart of New York City was like entering a world of timeless beauty and design. The moment I laid eyes on the stunning architecture and that beautiful ceiling, I was excited especially thinking of the theater’s vibrant history

As my assistant and I were setting up, I marveled at the meticulous craftsmanship of the ceiling, the beautiful floor built by the same company that builds floors for the New York Knicks, and the beautiful job JRM Construction did restoring this cultural New York gem.

As I clicked the shutter, my intention was to preserve the theater’s soul and timeless beauty. Each image conveyed the passion, dedication, and skill that breathed new life into this beautiful theater.

It was a privilege to photograph this cultural landmark and why I love being an interior photographer in New York. Through my photographs, I hoped to share the theater’s story with the world, inspiring others to appreciate its magnificence and encouraging the preservation of these architectural treasures for generations to come.
